Join us for the ultimate culinary adventure at uOttawa Gee-Gees Culinary Camps! Campers will dive into the culinary world with hands-on kitchen experiences guided by registered dietitians from the School of Nutrition Sciences. They will learn about food safety and develop foundational (Culinary 101) and/or intermediate (Culinary 102) cooking skills, such as how to safely use kitchen tools, read a recipe and measure ingredients. Campers will spend their days cooking in a state-of-the-art food prep laboratory kitchen, enjoying culinary-themed games, and participating in outdoor activities with camp counsellors. They will also be able to savour the delicious recipes they prepare for their lunch. At the end of the week, they will take home all the nutritious recipes they followed during camp to recreate at home. Each five-day camp will feature one trip to the pool and one special, food-themed outing! Please note that pick-up and drop off for culinary camps will be at the University of Ottawa’s School of Nutrition Sciences, located at the Lees FHS building at 200 Lees Avenue.
